Brian Falkner at Balmoral
Today we were very fortunate to have author Brian Falkner visit our school and share his stories about how he came about writing some of his best-selling books. He shared some of his secrets to writing a "winner" story and gave us some pointers to help us with our writing. He also shared some technology and threw in some quick wit for good measure! Post a comment and let us know what you thought of Brian. Don't just talk about the headset either...haha

We were very lucky to have Brian Falkner come in and talk to us all about how he writes and all about his books. I actually never thought that "what if" can give you all those ideas so a very good advice he gave us. The headset was pretty interesting as well ( poor Olly). Can't wait to use all his advice in a story! :-)
Brian's visit was a awesome experience. All of his books sound really interesting and I can't wait to read some of them. His 'what if' tip is really useful for ideas without tigers. ^o^

Brian Falkner was really interesting to listen to, I have been using the "what if" for a little while, but it's really cool to hear that Brian Falkner uses it as well!!!!!
Ps. I'm sooooooo gonna use the Oli thing to embarrass him at his 21st!!!!!!
It was really fun listening to Brian Falkner and what he said was really interesting.
I've read three of his books and they were really cool! For the 'What If?' Part, that needs to take some imagination, The bigger the imagination the better. Brian Falkner is a great Author!
I really want to read his books im going to start reading them they sound great
Brian Falkner has inspired me to write in a different perspective. The " what if " gave me all sorts of ideas.
