During philosophy today we looked at an article about Yoko Ono and her recent stance on gun control in the US. She recently tweeted a controversial photo of her late husband John Lennon's blood-stained glasses in response to the shocking amount of deaths from gun related incidences.
So what do we think??

I think the gun laws in america should be tightened because too many gun related accidents are happening and things are going out of control.
Yes, because there are lots of random psyco loonies who want to do bad thing with guns, not to protect yourself of others, and if they got hold of guns they would start a vicious circle and maybe even a war.
I think the gun laws in America should be tightened because lots of innocent lives are being killed. Another reason is if the gun was in the handle of the wrong hands there could be a lot of revenge and a lot of action going on. Each year nearly thirty one thousand people are getting killed with these terrible guns because of the rule the government has made. America has turned into a great war zone but it can always change.
If the gun laws are not tightened then there will be outcomes of people being killed. Also if there is stricter gun laws, people can start to breath a little easier from the psychos.

I think they should make the gun law tighter or else some people who take drugs and stuff might think its not real and go on a killing spree or psycho maniacs would and are going on a rampage. This needs to be STOPPED!
I think America should tighten the gun laws because over 31,000 are getting killed by guns each year which leads to bigger problems,specially revenge/vicious circle.Once a gun is inside the wrong hands, they think they have every right to shoot someone. Guns should be banned.

I think that the gun laws should be more stricter because people die for no reason all the time.
I think the gun laws are there for protection but you don't need guns if others don't have any guns to harm you. Guns should be used in war purposes only and we shouldn't have war anyway. It is even too dangerous to use guns in hunting because if that person goes metal it can become a real hazard and accidents occur lots. Personally, I believe guns should not exist anymore.

I think gun laws should be stricter because people are getting killed.If people can't aim right the results could be fatal.
I think that if we tighten the gun laws so tightly that there are no guns, people who want guns are gonna get REALLY angry at the law people because they took away the guns so they will do something silly like steal a sword out of a shop or sharpen a stick and use that, and also people wont feel safe around the people that have swords, sticks or other things, which would lead people to get their own weapons, and now thats cutting down trees getting all these sticks, and also it would lead people to more violent actions.

I think we should tighten the gun laws because of the way people are using them.Too many people are using guns for the wrong reason.We should have guns, but just for the Army and police. People should have a way of control over guns and not use them in any way of harming innocent beings.
I think America should tighten gun laws so that people can feel safer, and not a lot of people will get killed every year.
I think America should make the gun law more strict so the murderer cant buy the gun to kill people anyway
